Insights: Journal News and Personal Support
The OnScientia portal is now online and brings readers, authors and reviewers together in one place, from the first research idea to the published article. For researchers, however, it changes far more than the way a manuscript is submitted.
One Portal for the Entire Journal
On September 25, 2026, OnScientia launched its online portal at onscientia.com. The portal brings all of the journal's services together on a single platform and is designed for everyone involved in the academic discourse between business, law and health, whether they want to read research, publish their own work or review the work of others.
Open Access for Readers
All articles published in OnScientia can be read on the portal free of charge under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license. Readers who prefer to hold an issue in their hands or want to keep a complete edition can order the regular issues and the themed special editions in print or digital form directly on the portal.
A Clear Path to Publication for Authors
The portal accompanies authors through every stage of publication. Before writing a manuscript, researchers can request a free and non-binding pre-assessment of their project by the Editorial Board, and the Author Guidelines set out in detail what the journal expects in terms of content, methodology and format.
Manuscripts are submitted online through the portal, where authors also find a personal dashboard that shows the current status of their manuscript in the peer review process. Authors therefore no longer have to wonder where their work stands, since each stage of the review is visible to them at any time.
A Dedicated Area for Reviewers
Reviewers work in a separate area of the portal, where they submit their review reports and feedback on the manuscripts assigned to them. Researchers who would like to join the Reviewer Board can find all information on the Call for Reviewers page, and the Peer Review Policy and the Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement set out the standards that apply to every review.
Insight Journal News and Personal Support
Beyond the articles themselves, the portal keeps researchers informed about the journal and the world of academic publishing. Under Insights, the News Explorer reports on the latest developments at OnScientia, and the Facts Hub explains the principles and processes of academic publishing. Press & Media brings together all public media coverage of the journal.
Whenever questions arise about submission, peer review or the journal itself, the Help Desk connects users directly with the editorial team. Inquiries can be sent through the contact form or made by phone, so that authors, reviewers and readers receive an answer from the people who actually run the journal.
Stay Informed Through the Newsletter
Researchers who want to stay up to date can subscribe to the OnScientia newsletter on the portal. Subscribers receive calls for papers for the journal and for new special editions as soon as they open, learn about new issues ahead of the public announcement and are informed whenever new articles appear in the News Explorer, the Facts Hub and Press & Media.
